by Planet Labs & Greenpeace Microsoft Flight Simulator allows players to fly over a realistic world by using satellite images. However, images of the Amazon are outdated showing everyone a landscape frozen in time.

This innovative MOD updates the game’s original map with satellite data from Planet Labs, the world's leading satellite image provider. Using it, players can fly over constantly updated satellite imagery of the Amazon, now revealing the true damage done to the forest where players can have a direct impact on the real world by reporting threats using our geolocated tool.

Flying Guardians is a seamless integration between gaming entertainment, Greenpeace's activism, and Planet Labs' main service: cutting-edge satellites imagery, turning the game into a real-life environmental defense platform.
